Say goodbye to your puffy jacket! Made from USA-made Polartec "Extreme Warmth" High Loft fabric, the highest warmth to weight fabric that Polartec makes. As warm as any puffer, at about the same weight, but unlike a puffy jacket, the Tahoma breathes almost as well as the Alpha fabric, stretches with your body movement, is hydrophobic, quick-drying, insulates when wet, can be laundered easily on trail with the rest of your clothes, way more comfortable on your skin than nylon, more durable and way less expensive than a down puffy hoodie. Reasons to still carry a puffy? I can't come up with one, honestly.
 
Named after the orignal native name for Mount Rainier, the most glaciated mountain in the lower 48 states. I came up with the idea for the Tahoma while hiking the Wonderland Trail in 2023. It took me a few prototypes to get it just right, but eventually I ended up with a super practical, robust and unique garment that fills a huge need.

The Tahoma is as useful around town as it is on the trail or slopes. So cozy and warm walking around town or hanging out by the fire, super warm and comfortable in the backcountry and so much more practical than a puffy. You can work up a sweat in this thing and it wont wet out. It breathes so well your sweat evaporates through the fibers keeping your base layer dry. Did I mention it looks really dapper too?
 
Garment weight is 12 ounces for a men's medium or women's large. Weight may fluctuate slightly because they are hand cut and sewn, plus there are differences in batches of fabric.
